Our Hummus Philosophy

Welcome to Buy The Spread — your Hummus Oasis.

🥄 How It Started

Like all great stories, this one began with bowls and bowls of hummus and lots and lots of subsequent stomach pain. What started as a mission to recreate that perfect humus at home turned into an obsession — testing every tahini ratio, olive oil drizzle, and lemon squeeze imaginable.


🌿 What We Believe

  • ✨ Hummus = life, it's not just a dip or spread.
  • 🥣 Good food deserves to be eaten in its purest form — ideally with minimal toppings or accouterments (see: pita).
  • 👅 Hummus should be eaten by the spoonful. There is nothing wrong with going to town on a full bowl of hummus for a meal.
